Method Modeling, Makeup for Models/Actors, Makeup for TV, On Camera Movement for Video/TV and Still Photography
(Much is covered in Modeling lessons)

In the early to mid-eighties I owned and operated a beauty salon where I developed a cosmetic line and specialized in Makeup application.  I combined my knowledge of Makeup with my talents as a professional photographer.  I also owned and operated Color-Quest Photography Studios, where I taught Method Modeling and specialized in models Makeup and Modeling photos.

Some of the models I've worked with have been featured in national and international publications that included Seventeen magazine.  In 2004 I accepted the Beauty and Fashion directorship for Xess Magazine which I discontinued when I moved to Reno, Nevada.  Other of my models have been featured in well-known catalogues and national and international television commercials that included major soft drink companies and major airlines.

In 2000, I expanded my horizons in working with beautiful women to include Beauty Pageants; I was the state director in 2 states for Miss All American Latina Pageants.  I was later recruited to take over as state director of Miss & Teen Latin Image in Arizona and New Mexico.  In 2002, because of my vast knowledge and experience in the beauty industry, I was invited to judge a Miss America preliminary competition in New Mexico.

I have spent many years researching, what women of all ages do or do not know about Skin Care and Makeup application.  As a result of my research, I have created a personalized approach and program to makeup application, which I simply call “Face Yourself.”

Through the creation of "Face Yourself" it is my desire and goal to teach women of all ages and ethnicity to do for themselves or at least to be knowledgeable when it comes to their skin care, makeup, and the products that are best suited to their individual needs.

In 2005, I hosted my own Television Talk Show named "Hispanics Today and Tomorrow."  During the same period I hosted a Radio Talk Show on ESPN, and more recently 2007, I hosted Old Tucson Studios television program named "Old Tucson Studios-Casting Call" and am currently Chief Sports Commentator for Bull Riding TV.Com on Fox Sports which is airing nationally and internationally.

Tips to Avoid
Rip-offs:
1. Stay clear of modeling companies that require you to use their photographer.
a. In some cases
            photographers are
required to give the              company a
          “kickback”  then the              photographer is
           forced to pass the
           cost on to you the
           model or actor.
b. Not all
            photographers
            know how to work
            with models they
            may be sports or
            studio savvy but
            know little about
            the modeling
            industry.
c. Compare fees and
            the work quality of
            several
     photographers.

2. Be suspicious of a company that requires an up-front fee to serve as your agent.

3. Be cautious if the school has a special referral relationship with a specific agency.
a. The two could be
            splitting your fees.
4.  There are many other ways that you could be ripped-off.  Email your questions before you sign a contract with a school or agency.
DON:T GET RIPEDOFF!
